On Friday, May 29, 2015 was held the event TEDxPrishtinaWomen, where among official partners was also the European College of Kosovo. Knowing that cooperation with the community is one of the main activities of the European College, this time the Board of Directors has decided to promote the education and professional development of women. During this event was announced the call for application for two full scholarships for bachelor level which will be awarded to two participants of this event who express their interest for academic development and career advancement.
Interested candidates are invited to apply for studies in the academic year 2015/16 by completing the online application (click here). Evaluation of applications will be done by a joint staff of European College, TEDxPrishtinaWomen and two professional external members. The deadline for applications is 29 June.
Participants of this event had the opportunity to hear the speeches of various personalities who shared their inspiring experiences, thoughts and ideas with the audience. Some of the personalities that presented to the audience of 250 persons were: The President of the Republic of Kosovo Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, Vice President of the European Parliament Ms. Ulrike Lunacek, journalist Mrs. Jeta Abazi Gashi, theater actress and philanthropist Mrs. Elia Zaharia, Mrs. Vjollca Konjufca professor from the University of Southern Illinois, and many others.
